Welcome to ModClods My Cars At the moment I only have two solid axle MT's, a Cold, and a TLT-1. I am, however, in the process of building another Clod specifically for crawling. I also have a number of other RC's, including a B4, TC3, NTC3, T-maxx, Ep Evader ST, T3, 1/8th buggy, a few Bolink pan cars, and a 1/18th micro street force. Solid Axle Misconceptions... Typically when any RC enthusiest sees a solid axle MT they emmidiately think its a crawler, however the solid axle MT's can be anything. Bashers, Racers, Crawlers, Shelf-Queens, you name it! At the moment my clod is using a racing conversion (mre about it later), which also works good for bashing, and decent for crawling. But its NOT a crawler, crawlers scoot around at 3-5mph, have a low enough COG to climb up the walls in a house, and have enough torque to pull a house, mine does not. My TLT is mostly just an indoor crawler, and an outdoor basher. Over time I will be adding various how-to's, ranging from everything between locking a diff to building your own chassis. |
Boards? I like to stack up boards because they make a great little bashing obstacle. Do you like Air? Yes, I do like catching air with my RC's. Now dont get me wrong, Im not going to do no crazy stunts with my Clod that I would do with my T-maxx, why not? #1 reason: That Clod is worth about 4 times as much as my T-maxx. #2 reason: That Clod isnt built to take insane jumps, although Im sure it could take some pretty big ones with no or minimal damage. |
